Ryan McGregor first began his acting career in his local theatre, a critic stated in his review that he had a very positive and bright future in the theatre ahead of him.
Ryan knew that he wanted to take his career into a more professional route and enrolled onto an acting course at The Kingdom School of Arts in London studying under Robert Whitelock and Jonny Phillips. The aim of this was to learn about professional TV and Film acting and to improve his skill set by learning about different styles of acting, how to correctly analyse scripts and characters and to understand the business behind the industry.
Since then, Ryan has involved himself in numerous stage shows ranging playing a variety of different characters. His most recent included the lead role of Francis Henshall in One Man, Two Guvnors and Mark David Chapman in I’m Just A Jealous Guy & will play Peter Pan in an adapted theatre performance protraying an older version of the title character. He will be starring as Rebel in a sci-fi web series based around the idea of a dystopian world where murder is no longer punished but rewarded. .
At the start of 2016, Ryan decided to branch out into Voice Acting to gain an understanding into how to express emotions and characters through the use of vocal means only. He made his audiobook debut with The Pollution Monster Attacks Hawaii.
